The Samvaad Foundation is a government-recognized charitable trust that has been working towards preserving, documenting, and disseminating the rare and dying traditions of North Indian Classical (Hindustani) Vocal music for over three decades. At the core of Samvaad’s activities is its audiovisual archive that contains over 5000 hours of recordings of Hindustani Classical vocal music and over 3000 annotated, unpublished compositions.
